After losing close to 150 lbs. over 18 months with Weight Watchers, I started training with Dana at the beginning of October 2015. I had lost the weight but had done no strength training prior to that point. Dana asked the right questions and immediately got me working on strengthening my core and building muscle mass that I had never really had before. With the massive weight loss, I had to relearn movement, balance and more. Dana has tailored my training plan to accomplish this successfully. She educated me on proper nutrition with specific instructions on protein and carbohydrate intake in conjunction with Weight Watchers. The difference I have seen since that time has been fantastic.
Working with Dana I’ve seen my body weight continue to drop while my lean muscle mass has increased. I’m seeing the toning and definition that I hoped for. My massage therapist has commented on the difference she’s seen in my muscle tone and the strengthening of various muscle groups due to the workout program Dana laid out for me. I know this difference is because of the guidance and encouragement from Dana over this time. I’m also a runner, having completed two Half Marathons since December 2015. With the core and endurance training Dana has put me through, I’ve cut over 3 minutes per mile off of my running pace in the last 3 months.
Her style is direct and honest, which I appreciate. She doesn’t pull her punches and doesn’t sugar coat things. That makes a world of difference when your focus is actually seeing noticeable results. At the same time, she’s been extremely supportive and encouraging since day 1. I know that the progress I’ve made physically and in my self-confidence are directly related to the instruction, guidance and support Dana has given me. If you want results from a trainer that knows how to achieve definable and measureable goals, you need to work with Dana and give her 100% of your effort. You will see results. I started training with Dana recently and have definitely seen results! She designed a nutrition program for me that has improved my diet and given me more energy, and has helped improve my flexibility and strength by teaching me several exercises that I can also do on my own. She is an easy going person, but pushes me at the same time. I recommend Dana to anyone who wants to get into better shape, improve their strength and flexibility, meet their goals, and enjoy working out at the same time!
Dana is awesome! In only two months I have seen fantastic results with just a nutrition plan. She makes it so easy and way less stressful than most people think. My results in my training have gone through the roof since the start of my plan as well. Never knew how crucial your nutrition is if you want great results in the gym. Dana definitely knows whats up!
